2012 Christmas Tree- Christmas Garden

A couple of weekends ago, I DIY'd some Christmas ornaments (see the tutorial here) so this past weekend I finally put up our new tree!

I am absolutely in love with our Christmas garden.

What is the theme of your tree? Is it more traditional or a little different like ours?

The white and felt flowers are from West Elm.  The rest of the ornaments are from all over and the clear glass ones are all ones I made.

I do a different color theme each year for my tree!! This year is green and my husband hates it, he says it doesn't "pop" but I love it. I match my wrapping paper each year to go with the tree!!

Your tree looks amazing! You just gave me some ideas for next year. I usually just change the colours. This year I did gold and purple and they look gorgeous against the lit tree.

I am in love with your tree! It's gorgeous. Ours is pretty traditional with just random ornaments.

Your tree is absolutely stunning! I wish I could a themed tree. But, alas, we have the traditional, hodge-podge ornament tree. My H insists on having all of our personal ornaments on the tree instead of displayed nicely somewhere.

We do a different themed Christmas tree every year and I always seem to like the white/silver and gold/silver combos!! Beautiful tree!

Beautiful tree! We're travelling for the holidays so we will not put a tree up this year.

Your ornaments turned out beautiful! Love your tree. We have a blue and silver theme on our tree - which I love. I love trees that aren't the traditional Christmas colors.

The ornaments look amazing. I went to Michaels last night and picked up my supplies. I decided to make some for my friends. Thanks for the idea.

What a beautiful tree! You're fortunate to have a husband that is OK w/having a somewhat "girly" tree. My fiance likes the traditional red, green, silver, and gold so that's what we've got! I'm thinking of putting up my very own girly tree in our spare room turned office...when it turns into an office that is.

Looks beautiful! I saw this tree skirt on eBay while I was looking for one for me, it made think of your tree. Though I would share it just in case....

Love it! So pretty and wintery!! Ours is very sentimental. We have it full of Lenox ornaments we have had personalized over the years and a bunch of silver bells that my husband's grandma had given him once a year since he was born. It is very special to us!

Kristal---you have to make the rules! Maybe he just doesn't realize how amazing the tree can look if it's decorated in other ways :)

You should at least add a few feminine touches if you'd like---after all it's not his tree, it's both of yours.

Very cute! I love the thought of the wire star garland. I've never thought to put on a tree. How clever!

I love your tree. It's so pretty. I love the flowers as well! Where did you purchase them from?

Our tree is white and I have red/white ornaments, nothing fancy. Haha

Love the tree! But I am loving your dark wood in your house! We just bought a house and it has the light oak floors, we are planning on changing them to dark wood because it just looks so much more elegant. :) Oh and congrats on the pregnancy!
