Sweaters for Summer?

Navy blue and hot pink might just be one of the best color combos ever. It's not quite as harsh as black and hot pink and the rich, deep blue plays well off of the neon color of the sweater.

This outfit was incredibly comfortable and felt totally laid-back---but the lace of the skirt made it look a little more dressed up than it felt.

Sweater- J.Crew Tippi (similar)
Skirt- Zara (similar, similar under $20)
Shoes- Nine West Martina Pumps (buy them here)
Necklace- c/o Stella & Dot
On my nails: Essie's "Mojito Madness"

For those wondering if this sweater is too warm to wear in the Texas heat---absolutely not---in fact, I still have to use my heating pad to stay warm at my desk because it's SO cold in my office! Plus, linen is very light and breathable.

Do you incorporate lightweight sweaters into your summer officewear?

I totally wear sweaters in my office! I even have a woolen J. Crew sweater that I keep there just in case.

So cute! I wear sweaters in the summer all the time, even though it is hot outside. It is always so cold indoors! I bought those heels online in nude! I tried them on in store and they are seriously comfortable. Thanks for the recommendation!

I wear a cardigan or long sleeves (light sweaters, breezy blouses etc) every day despite the TX heat. Bare arms are my biggest nightmare.

I live in sweaters or my office princess snuggie (don't judge)!

This outfit is so cute and such a great way to get more wear out of casual pieces!
I usually carry a cardigan or a light sweater that I can throw over top, I'm always cold!

I love this skirt! I love in Florida and it's insanely hot! However, it feels like a meat locker in my office so I have a portable heater near my desk. People think I'm nuts when I wear a sweater and tights outside right now but little do they know it's Antartica in the office! Aren't the Tippi sweaters the best?!

I live in the south and I'm pregnant yet still need to carry sweaters everywhere! AC makes me so uncomfortable!

I salute you, I cannot even step outside in this heat! But such a pretty outfit, that pink is a gorgeous color :)

Very classic in my opinion! Even though the sweater is neon, the longer lacey skirt really offsets the brightness!

I always have a cardigan or jacket at hand at work and do some layering. Sometimes it´s freezing cold or way to warm...thats the trouble with an old building and old a/c. The floors are not meant to corprate so much people as there were no open offices back in the 70´s ;o) As we speak about open office...of course there are always some people feeling the different way than you are about temperature.

LOVE this sweater! The material looks amazing and could be styled so many different ways!
and I agree. I wore a sweater and jeans to work the other day because I freeze yet it is 108 in Dallas. Anywhere you go the AC is cranked down to 50.
