Stripe Me Away

How many ways can you really wear a hot pink skirt? I asked myself this question when I first purchased it---but I've found mine to be surprisingly versatile. Though the go-to option is to always pair it with a neutral and let the skirt be the life of the party, it can also be fun to mix it up a little.

Case in point? Today I did a little neon-on-neon action. The top is an olive color so technically a neutral, but its neon stripes added a little some extra.

Top- Old Navy
Skirt- J.Crew
Belt- J.Crew
Necklace- Stella & Dot c/o: Katie Kiner

Do you like to pair brights together or do you prefer to wear neutrals with brights?

Love that top! I never find cute things like this at Old Navy! They must keep the cute stuff in the American stores ;)

I tend to play it safe. :) Either a pattern on top or bottom, and otherwise it's a solid.

I'm love that you're bold enough to pull neon at work... i might have to try that! :)

Wow, I love the outfit combo, I would have definitely played it safe, but then again I would have never found a cute top like that at Old Navy I never seem to find stuff like that there!

Great outfit! Great use of color without being too over the top.

You're totally inspiring me to add some fun pieces to my otherwise boring work wardrobe. I think the top and skirt work well together. I would normally do a neutral, but just because it takes less thought.

So cute and fun! I loved that top from the moment I saw it!

I typically like to pair brights with neutrals, but I think bright on bright looks really great too.
