Light Rose

My undying love for the J.Crew No. 2 Pencil Skirt is deeper than I ever imagined. In fact, during the extra 30% off sale, I picked up yet another one---this time, in the color "light rose." It's actually more of a bright coral color---and every bit as delightful as my other No. 2s (seriously, I need to start naming them). Let's call this one "Betty."

Meet Betty. She's bright:

Tank- GAP Body; Skirt- J.Crew; Jacket- Talula @ Aritzia;
Shoes- Nine West; Necklace- Banana Republic

Who else was able to snag a No. 2 during the sale!?

  1. I love the No 2 as well! I got sucked into the winter wool versions last year (and fell in love with them) which lead me to try the summer version this year. I bought one a full price and snagged 2 other colors on sale :) I've got green, blue and purple and they are in heavy rotation for me too :)

  2. I love these skirts and this one is so pretty on you! I wish I would have picked up more of these skirts a couple weeks ago because when I returned home, I found out they cost much more online :-/ They are such good quality and the colors are fab!

  3. I know exactly what you mean! I find myself hoarding the No. 2 Pencil skirts; my only complaint is that they can get wrinkly after sitting at the office for a while.

  10. I have a purple paisley one from this past winter, it isn't wool but it has more stretch than the cotton. I bought a neon pink and a garden floral during the sale! The cotton ones fit me a bit better, I'm in between sizes in the wool, unfortunately. I hope they get marked down even more for the next "final sale" round!

  11. I picked up my very first No. 2 Pencil skirt at the sale in the Neon Pink color. I have never bought one before because my size is not sold in stores and the skirts are way more online. My boyfriend found out that I was able to order it via there phone thing in the store so I got the store price and 30% off!!

  19. I love your pencil skirt outfits! You always look so pulled together. I recently snagged 2 J. Crew no. 2 skirts during the sale and I adore them - but, does anyone else have this problem? They totally shift around when I walk! Like, not ride up, but the slit in the back ends up almost in the front by the time I walk somewhere, lol. Anyone know how to avoid that problem?
