Jade is the New Black

No really, it is. These jade pants have arguably become my most favorite pants ever.  I just love how they add that pop of color without being too bright (thus, not offensive in the slightest for the workplace).

I went for a more relaxed look on Thursday and paired them with a polka-dot blouse from GAP and a J.Crew long cardigan in navy.

Top- GAP
Pants- Zara
Cardigan- J.Crew
Shoes- Zara
Necklace- Regina Pierallini

Do you ever wear colored dress pants (other than gray and black)?

xoxo,

Veronika.

Yes! I get so bored wearing black pants to the office all the time, and adding in other colors was on my wish list for spring. I now have red, pale pink, navy, and baby blue pants. As long as you pair them with simple tops and shoes, it's office-appropriate!

I am in love with those Zara pumps! They are so classic and feminine. Think I will definitely have to order them.

You look great! I need to get some new work pants, and I have been eying up a pair of dark purple ones.

Quick question on your Zara shoes. Did you size up in them. I wear a size ten but want to order some new shoes.

New to your blog. Been catching up on older posts, videos & your FB page. I'm learning a lot & getting inspired to break out of many ruts I've been in with clothes, make-up, etc. I've never worn colored pants or denim but I think I may give it a shot. With you, it's pretty simple: you're adorable & you could wear a garbage bag & make it look good!!!
Happy Easter weekend to you & H (and Lulu)

I have a pair of HOT PINK cropped pants that I love! You can see me a mile away, but I always get compliments and I don't mind a bit of color, especially during the spring and summer months! It's always easier to pair brights with neutrals...they don't compete against each other, and you won't look like a street sign :) Have a great weekend! xo, tasha

I think the fit is off. Notice, how they are pulling in the crotch area. I think that means they are too long in the torso. I always have the opposite problem..lol.

No I must admit I'm the only person on Earth not into coloured jeans but you pull it off beautifully :) You're making me consider them

After you showed those on a shopping haul video I ordered them from Zara and I love them!! I roll mine a little though because they look funny on me full length. I'm 5'5" and I think you are quite a bit taller. Please keep showing outfit ideas!! My first pair of color pants and I love them. Laurie

I can't pull them off, but even if I had some colored pants, I'd be afraid to wear them. I'm a little on the scared side in fashion. You made them look great though! (:

Love these especially the jade green color! I think you have convinced me to try the colored denim and pant trend V. Hope you have a lovely weekend (and Easter if you celebrate!) xoxo

I wore practically the same outfit, only w/ plum colored pants, to work on Friday. Love the Gap top! It's one of my staples this spring.

I love them on you! They are such a great color too. I have yet to find some colored pants that fit me, but I'm still looking!
