Weekend Shopping: Fitting Room Photos & Haul Video

Happy Saturday everyone!  As always, I like to blog my fitting room photos as often as possible. You can watch my haul video here, or just check out the photos below! (by the way, there is a Lulu cameo in the video, so it's a cute one!)
Everything I bought today is from Zara. That store has really been impressing me lately. It has become a total go-to shopping destination for me because their clothing can be mixed in effortlessly with other brands.

(Don't mind me, I had my little socks on that I wear with my flats)

Royal blue linen blazer (the sleeve lining is a dark nude color with blue polka dots! so cute!)

I also got a pair of black pants (same as the jade ones I got last week and the shoes I am wearing in the photos above.)
....and now, I have a bone to pick with Old Navy. I get this email saying that they have a promo for 25% off online only. So I go to the store and I was going to buy two tops but then I realized it would be cheaper to buy them online.  I forgot about shipping, so it would actually be more to buy them online, even at 25% off. So now, I have to go back to the store to buy them. Ugh. But they are cute so I don't want to miss out.

and this is the other one I liked...

So yeah, Old Navy is on my list of "retailers that are annoying me" right now. Why can't they just let you use the discount in the store? So frustrating.

xoxo,

Veronika.

  1. Old Navy online/instore prices are so frustrating! I go there a lot so I'm pretty familiar with their prices, especially their clearance... but the difference is horrible! Things in store are often $10-20 cheaper than online. ALWAYS! It's a great store for my budget, but I'm often frustrated with their inconstancies.

    1. really!? the prices were the same online as in store for the items I wanted, but the $7 of shipping made the online discount obsolete. Plus, their shipping takes forever.

    2. I think you're a BR Luxe card holder like me (based on our post about 50% off 5 things in store). If so, then you can usually type in 'LUXE' to get free shipping through ON, Gap or BR anytime if you want to place an order under $50. However, I agree that their shipping has taken longer (particularly for ON stuff) since they started using FedEx's shipping method which delivers via USPS.

  2. It is so annoying when stores run online promos only.
Great haul though! Love the blazer.

  4. That pink shirt is adorable. The color is so bright and unique! I also love the last ON multi-stripe shirt.

Online promotions are so annoying...a lot of the time the shipping makes it not a good deal, annoying!

  5. Veronika - where did you get the bookcase you film in front of?

  6. Is that the striped slub dolman that's 14.95 online? It's the only thing I could see that was similar but it looks SO much cuter on you!! I'm not surprised, but it's making me wonder if it is the same shirt! Do you have a link? Thanks! I love your blog and wardrobe! Have a great weekend! :)

  7. I love your Zara clothes. We don't have a Zara in Victoria, but I always go when I go to Vancouver. Also on Gap.com shipping is free with a $50 purchase. I would still buy the tops online for the 25% (and add enough to your cart so that you qualify for free shipping, then return what you don't want in store...yes some may say it is cheating the system, but if they are going to give you the run-around on their promotions, you should be able to get what you want!)

  8. I love your blog! And I love Zara!

We have finally got a Zara store in Melbourne, Australia and I just blogged about my latest haul too - except we're heading into winter now!
I love Zara blazers too and found that the one I got today was a bigger cut as well so I had to get the small.

  9. I loved your video! I also love that blue blazer. I'm super into bright blue shades lately. I can relate to what others (including you) are saying about online promos. They get you with a percentage off, but the shipping always seems to equal what it is to buy the item at the store.

  10. I love all the pink you are picking up lately :) It is a great color on you and so fun and bright for spring!
Love the Lulu feature as well ;)

  11. Hey there! Just a quick question for you - what kind of socks do you wear with flats? Do you always wear socks when you wear flats and do you recommend it?

    Thanks!

  13. In Canada Old Navy has free shipping over $50 so I sometimes just add a few extra things to my purchase and then return them to the store the next time I'm out shopping :)

  14. That blazer is gorgeous and so is that pink top. I find it annoying when retailers do that too but I've been really happy with ON's selection lately. I've found that it's almost always cheaper to buy the items in the store as opposed to online (they are usually $10+ higher online).

  18. I totally agree. I stopped shopping at ON months ago because of this reason. I LOVE the navy blazer!

  19. jen- the socks I wear are actually shoe liners from target---they are the ones that are low cut so they don't show when you wear them with flats---check your local target!

  21. LOL!! Lulu! I love that you get kisses from your fur babies like I do ;) And he does have so much hair! My Chi's shed so much and they don't have that much hair- Does Lulu shed a lot? If so, what do you do for it? Brushing, etc?

Those heels are gorgeous!! I've never tried Zara shoes. I'm a 10 and interested to see if I'd need an 11 also.

  25. OLD NAVY HAS FREE SHIPPING ON ANY ORDER OVER $50

  26. When I order online from Old Navy, I always make sure that my total is over $50 so that I can get free shipping. This generally means ordering the item(s) I want in more than one size (which is actually a good idea, just in case) or adding on a few things that I don't intend to keep. Then I just return the excess to the store. Viola. No shipping charge, and no charge for returns. They will even take back the items that are marked "Return by Mail Only" at my local stores.
