I finally bit the bullet this weekend and I'm so happy to finally own them! Check out the video below for the flats and a few other purchases:

This is the first time I've heard about the Revlon lip stuff! I'll have to check out my local Target to see if they have any--or if they are sold out! :)
ReplyDeleteHehe, the visor! ;-)
ReplyDeleteGreat video, great finds! And yes, the lip butters are phenomenal!
ReplyDeleteI love my Revas! I have the black patent with the black logo and the tan with the tan logo- I love the tone on tone look!
ReplyDeleteI have some Joe's jeans (skinnies and a few other sytles) and love them. They wash up well, last forever (I have had some for 4-5 years) and look great on.
ReplyDeleteJoe's jeans are great, I have multiple pairs in multiple styles (skinnys included) and love them all. They wash up well, look great on and last forever (I have had a few pairs since college).
ReplyDeleteI love Joe's jeans but have never tried the skinnies. I also got a pair of black TB Caroline flats right before Christmas and I wear it to work all the time now. Great purchases today!
ReplyDeletecute dress!!! Do you mind me asking what size you got in the dress?
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way with spending $200 on shopping trip but not having the courage to spend $200 on one item. Funny how your brain works, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThose elephant bookends are darling! Where are they from?
ReplyDeleteI bought the same Merona shoe liners and hated them because they barely covered anything. I love the Hue liners though. If you find you don't like the Merona try these.

Revlon lib butters...yuck. Felt like sandpaper and completely dried out my lips in seconds.
ReplyDeleteYou'll love the reva flates. I get so much wear out of mine.. they smarten up skinny jeans. Also, tried lip butters. They have a very nice thick moisturizing texture. Got the creme brulee color 095, not crazy about it since it is very nude and makes me look a little dead (but still ok with a little lip liner). I may try the cupcake color.
ReplyDeleteI usually can't stand the elastic in the back of flats similar to the Revas, I always end up with pinching and blisters on my heel... have you noticed that with the Reva's?
ReplyDelete@laura--they are from Marshalls home goods...around last summer
ReplyDeletethe size of the dress is medium
ReplyDeletelove the dress, super cute!! I still can't get myself to spend $200 on flats, maybe heels, but just can't on flats! I'll have to try the lip butter, I haven't heard anything about them yet.
ReplyDeleteThe Reva's are super comfortable! Alicia, I never had problems with pinching and blisters, even though I've had those issues with other flats.
ReplyDeleteVeronika -- what is this shoe doctor that your friend took her shoes to? I have another pair of Tories that are in desperate need of help, I've worn them so much!
Love the dress and flats! I have had the same experience with the lip butters. Can't find them anywhere. When I did find them at Target they were sold out in every color I wanted!
ReplyDeleteI swear by Joe Jeans...they're my favorite and last forever! And congrats on the TB Revas! I have the Eddies and they are SO comfy! Totally worth the investment! :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband just bought me my first pair of revas. I love them so much. I got them in black, now I want them in silver and gold too! :)
ReplyDeleteI want these flats so badly - since month - but I just can't justify the whole I would have in my budget with this purchase :(
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finally getting those flats! ^^
ReplyDeleteI felt that way once about Reva flats, but after getting my first pair during a FF sale a few years ago I have not looked back. I've lost count of how many pairs I have now, but I have not paid full retail for any of them! Also, for me they last forever. My oldest pair is over 3 years old and they have been steadily worn (I'm a teacher and on my feet all day!). I always feel more put together in a pair of TB shoes!
ReplyDeleteYou will love your Revas! I am headed to TB for a pair of Eddies this week.
ReplyDeleteAnd, if you like the lip butters check out the Target website for their coupons, there is one for $2.00 off.
Hi, I just wanted to share this with you and anyone else that is interested...I am not sure how familiar you are with Target coupons or if they are something you would use BUT there is currenty a printable coupon for the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter. It is for $2 off.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
I LOVE the TB Flats!!!! Congrats on making the purchase and I cant wait to see how you incorporate them into your outfit.
ReplyDeleteI love that your hubby went shopping with you - so sweet. It's the little things.

@PattyBaragar
Thanks so much for sharing the Charlotte Russe dress! I have a cruise coming up in 2 weeks and I've been looking for cute things to pick up- ran out and got the CR dress today- it's perfect!!
ReplyDeleteI HATE my Joe's!!! They get saggy-assed after 10mins of wear. The only reason I didn't return them was b/c I got them altered and then didn't think Nordstrom would take them back (I have since learned that they would have). My friend bought some recently and the belt loop popped off on the first wear. I don't recommend them.
ReplyDeleteI bought some red Revas a couple of weeks ago, they're my 2nd TB flats (I forgot what the first ones are called, but they're black and have a different logo than the Revas). The elastic on the heel of the Revas is VERY tight...my first pair is much more comfortable. I also bought some of those Merona footies but they show, so I just skip them and suffer :(
I want the lip butters too, but I already have a couple of similar ones so need to use those up first.
@amy---thanks for the feedback on the jeans :) I haven't tried the Merona footies yet but I am hoping I can tuck them in if they show since I got the "hidden" ones instead of the fuller ones.
ReplyDeleteA) LOVE the shoes! I've been eyeing those as well, but never wanted to take the $200 leap since my flats have only ever lasted me 3 months before falling apart. Hearing that they hold up better than most, I might have to get them in the Spring!
ReplyDeleteB) you should have let me know about the Lip Butter - we've had it here for almost 3 months now. I love them as well!
xo
I love my TB flats! I don't have the Reva's, but I have another pair. I have Reva's on my wish list too.
ReplyDeleteI only wear Joe's Jeans (i own 5 pairs in different cuts) and have even gotten my bf obsessed with the Men's styles too! They are so comfortable and soft without that over stiff feeling like some of the other designer brands. And they have so many different styles to choose from including the provocateur line for shorter (not petite) girls too, so that I don't have to get everything hemmed! I highly recommend them.
ReplyDeleteHi! Can you please tell me where you got those amazing elephant book ends?!? So nice. Thanks! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe Reva's will hurt for the first few wears. I wore mine for two weeks solid until the pain stopped. So don't worry if they hurt. The liners help alot, like you I was not sure about spending that much. I managed to get 25% off them in November for friends and family, they are worth every penny.
ReplyDeleteHi Veronika!
ReplyDeleteYou bought great things on your shopping trip! Enjoy the Tory Burch flats :). I live in Houston too and always wear linens with my shoes because my feet so tend to sweat a lot.
I have a pair of Joe's Jeans and love them! The ones I got are skinny and they're so comfortable!! I would definitely recommend them!

I just love your videos so much V! The Revas are classic in my opinion, I truly don't think they will ever go out of fashion. They are iconic now! I don't mind splurging on classics because you will always get a lot of use out of them :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband gave me black and gold Reva's for my birthday in October and they quickly become one of my most worn shoes. I love them and quickly got a navy blue pair - now I'm thinking metallic :) Congrats on those new beauties!
ReplyDeleteVeronika, where do you buy your Proactiv refining mask in Houston?? I cancelled my skincare subscription with them months ago, and now can't order the mask online - huge bummer, because my skin LOVES that mask!
ReplyDeletesara---I buy the proactiv mask at the galleria mall or memorial city mall---they have kiosks
ReplyDeleteI just bought some Revas as well in black and silver about a month ago and love them! Tip: wear them around the house for a couple days with thick socks- helps to stretch them a bit and makes them comfier! Love your blog, have been reading for a while but just started following you officially via blogger!

Hi! I discovered your blog today via Utube and love it! Where did you get the gold cross necklace you are wearing in this video? I have been searching high and low for one of my own in gold as well. Love Nordie Rack too - it is my go to store even before heading to the mall. Thanks!
