I've featured reality star Audrina Patridge as a beauty and fashion inspiration on my blog many times. So can you imagine how awesome I felt when I had the opportunity to meet and interview her for a website I freelance for?
I was thrilled---but to be honest, I was totally nervous. I remember right before going into the interview room I was kind of having heart palpitations. I think anytime you meet someone famous, you're bound to feel a little anxious about the experience.

Fortunately---talking to Audrina was like talking to a friend. She is so incredibly genuine, sweet, nice...I just can't say enough great things about her. She's smart and funny---and one of those people you know you'd be friends with in real life (you know, if she weren't a celebrity and maybe you met through work or school).

- Her best advice? “You’re never going to be perfect and you just have to accept that and be happy with who you are.”
- She hates the gym and prefers to swim, play beach volleyball or do the Bar Method classes
- She get an airbrush tan every couple of weeks
- She loves Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Light-Weight Body Lotion SPF 30
- She said Houston-based Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer is her favorite foundation and that she religiously washes her face morning and night — even when traveling.
- She packs Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleansing Cloths for easy makeup removal on planes.
- She gets a professional blowout once a week and only washes her hair every three days (she raved about the Bumble & Bumble dry shampoo that she uses between washings.)
- She also loves Moroccanoil and uses it on her hair and skin.

Wow - that's so cool! I really like Audrina - I haven't watched much of the Hills - but in all her magazine photos (both at events and on the street) she always looks so pretty and well dressed. Loved reading about her make-up faves.

That's great you were able to meet someone you like and she turned out to be a nice "normal" person. Sometimes it sucks when you like a celebrity and you meet them and they turn out to be jerks.

Great interview Veronika! I especially loved her remark about trying to remember all the nice comments people make and taking power away from the negative people who try to hurt her by simply deleting them. I adore Audrina as she always seems so grounded and "real." Plus, her style truly is effortlessly chic.

P.S. I agree with Chritins...you're definitely prettier than her and more fresh looking, still such an awesome experience! I got to meet Lo a few years ago and she was super sweet and chatted my ear off for a while and it was so neat to see someone from a show I loved and get to see a little of the "real person" as opposed to what you see on tv.

I agree that her hair looks a little weird...I think it's a combination of her highlights and the fact that it's a little flat on the top of her head. Usually I like the ombre look but hers is a little severe - not the best I've seen of her.
