Our 2010 Christmas Card from Shutterfly

I just realized I never shared how our 2010 Christmas card turned out---if you recall, I got them through the Shutterfly blogger promotion.

I just love how they turned out and we got a lot of sweet compliments on them.

What do you think? I used this picture because I liked that we weren't looking at the camera and the sparklers felt very celebratory to me.

Happy holidays everyone!

Did you send out cards this year or did you opt out of card sending in 2010?

xoxo,

Veronika.

Love the card!

Yes, we do a Christmas card every year with our furbabies. Try to be creative, but doesn't always happen. It's difficult to get 3 dogs to look at a camera at the same time. Photoshop is our friend. Here is ours from this year adding a little something to it... http://blameitonthetoes.blogspot.com/2010/12/2010-christmas-card.html

Merry Christmas...I can't wait to hear about your trip!

I love the picture, however I wondered whether it's weird to send out a picture when your wedding was so long ago?
I mean no snark, I was going to do it myself but mom vetoed it.

@anon we only have professional pics from our wedding day and I thought this pic was celebratory so it was a good fit. If someone would look down on that then I'd rather not send them a card!

Great picture and great card! Is this your first Christmas since being married?

Nope our wedding was may 2009 I just loved the way the pic looked on that card

I ordered the exact same card! Haha, I used a black and white wedding picture where we are kissing (I didn't want looking at the camera either). I love the layout of that one. I like how the pic you used fit into it better than mine though!

I love this card! The sparklers make it look very holiday-like. We did not send out photo cards this year. We will start that tradition next year when we are married!

I think that's a great picture choice for the occasion.

We sent out christmas cards - no picture though.

I know it's trendy to do so, but I really dislike it when ppl send out pics of their wedding as a christmas card. I can't help but think "get over yourself" but that's just my opinion. Luckily none of our friends did this...lol.

Love your Christmas card! FI and I are going to do the same thing for Christmas '11- we are getting married in June :) I think its nice b/c it's a way to give everyone a wedding pic (b/c usually not every family member and friend gets one).

Very pretty card, & I agree about the sparklers looking festive. Very nice :)

We gave cards to our nearest & dearest (not photo cards, but some lovely Christmas stationary) but opted not to send out the photo card until we have kids. My wedding was in 2009, very summery, and while we do have professional pics since then, everyone who would have gotten a card has seen them a million times. If we would have had time to take a holiday-ish pic with our fur baby, I probably would have sent some though.

I used the same card with an engagement picture! It looks great!

It came out quite nice and festive, but I am not a fan of using wedding pics unless the wedding was very recent. Maybe next year you can do a more current pic?

It is beautiful. I like to either take a pic of me and DH and sometimes the dog for our card or use one from some event that year. I sent a wedding pic on our thank you's though so I didn't use one for Christmas that year.

Veronika that was very well said. Touche, wish I thought of that when I suggested the idea.

It's cute, but I think it's a little weird to send out photos from your 2009 wedding. Time to move on, you know? I like to see current pictures of my friends and family, but that's just me.

I think your card is very beautiful, but I also feel like maybe it would have been better if you had sent them out last year? I also got married in 2009 and feel like all the picture sharing is long over with. this is just my opinion.
